Cheat Engine

Hello everybody out there.
Recently I have been trying to play 2 of the classic NES rom. Hoping to complete the game which frustrate me in the past. So I try to hack the roms using CE. But trust me, there is no possible ways to hack both of this rom. Literally I tried every scanning method - from bytes to float to double. Even unknown initial value didn't workout.
In case if you are wondering I'm using an emulator called "fceux" and the roms are called Cobra Triangle and GunSmoke which can be downloaded off the net.
So if anybody knows a way or two on how I should go about doing it please reply ASAP.
PS: There are no cheat codes, Pro Action Replay codes availble for these roms. I'm totally stuck, literally speaking.
Anybody with some guide and help please do reply.

I really appreciate your effort buddy. But you never told me how can I use those codes in my emulator. It seems like Game Genie codes but even that it doesn't work in my emulator. Maybe I'm wrong but please give more details. In case if you're wondering, there are no password functions for both of this games.
