That "lake" looks to me like it's above ground-level. Though there is what appears to be a bridge going across it.
Then again, it doesn't have the appearance of most other lakes on google earth.

Also, for a secret base, there's a lot of roads branching from it.
And anyone curious about that crater on the far right?

- Theory, They test nuke weapons to "hide out" the crater. But yeah, its been verified theres a crater on Area 51, only god knows what landed.

Yeahhhh, because, y'know, they don't have security cameras all around the perimeter or anything.

It could well be a meteorite of osme sort. After all, even if there was no information about a meteorite landing there, thay may have decided to filter it out so as to stop people from believing that it may have caused physical security breaches and trying to get in because of this.

Also, Google's edit isn't very good. I wonder if it could be counter-editted, or something?

Or not. Or maybe it was attempted when it couldn't be done but there is a new form of graphical edition tool which makes it possible. Or whoever tried did it wrong and failed and people believed it was impossible when it wasn't... No?

Secret Society's. Why do they call them secret societys? They exist, they are well gaurded (there meeting are anyway) We know there names We do not know what they talk of... :\ oh and.. a blurred area, thats not noticable at all, who would ever guess the blurred area of the map has something there, after all it is a blur.

There are tons of craters in the desert, that isn't very unusual.

And it isn't secret, the only reason it was considered completely secret and not known was because of the movie Independence Day starring Will Smith.
