I just think it's a little bit over done. | UH OH I SEE! Afraid of the unexplained. I used a mechanical pencil and kept my face about 4 inches away from the paper the whole time. That's how I got so much detail in it. I could have had more detail, but the paper was too small.

If it were a logo, portfolio, or something along those lines then simplicity could be the key. However in drawings like this small details matters.
Your comment was not criticism, it was an opinion. Thats what was pointed out.

| You're really impressive at drawing weird (in a good way) creature concepts. I knew a person a year ago who worked for Blizzard, he does creature concept and design for Cataclysm. You'd be pretty good at something like that I think
