I got a new hatchatman labret ring and I took a picture of it *which you can't see front of it anyway* and it just went from there... creativity at its finest! lol

Vao, I dont really know you because maybe we dont share same interests in CEF sections, but here my friend Up2Admin is really skilled at arts.

about the facial hair being fake or not.

actually ... man.... its pretty obvious that the lower part of the beard is the only real thing because of:
1) color
2) shadows
3) perspective blending
4) level of detail because of Depth of field that can be seen with the picture itself which was not correctly focused so its a little blurry.

if you want suggestions here are some:

try exploring a little more with the layers blending mode.
for match the quality of a taken photo use the sharpen tool and then the blur tool and manually make it fit.

on the eyes, I suppose you wanted to change the color, well I'll say this, ever work on a normal blending mode with 100% of the opacity over a photo if you are not wiling to draw in all the details ( right color, shading, shadows, manual drawing of reflection and or refraction and erase excess manually )

that's much it about the "modifications" made on top of your picture, now the background blending, well... there are lots of hi res textures on the web try CGTextures there you can find some and download some of them for free.

and try to match the level of detail of all your elements when making a composition in order to make it look good. I mean.. if your background haves more details than your principal item it most likely will be a bad composition.

Well he is the one who jumped the gun and called this and that, it was intended for positive feedback and not negative.. Look around the Sig Request section at the sigs I have been making people.. I have no problem in doing that out of my spare time because its the right thing to do.. but for him to post a troll comment saying FAKE.. obviously something about the picture will be fake because it was tampered with photoshop.. the sides of the beard is the only things thats fake.. I only added those because I can't grow them in thick and the mustache and beard is real 100% maybe color distoration.

I have 10+ years experience, I know what im doing.. but thanks for tips.

Wow you must be young boy, photoshop has been around for quite some time.. I started using it in either 98 or 99.. version 5.0 or so.

But it dates back longer than that, I actually used Corel Paint Shop Pro 4.xx for 3 months before I started using photoshop.

Go look in request sigs, you will see some of my sloppy fast work for other people... I want you to post your best work and I will do better, go ahead. Kindof a challenge if you will

I've been tempted to take college course in arts, but I major'd in engineering instead.

By the way, that picture above is no where NEAR my best work i've ever done.. you would be blown away at the stuff I have made in the past on request... by HAND now, I don't do the downloading shit. That above is just sloppy now that I look at it
