Ok, so I have a computer running XP was SP3 but I put it back to sp2, it started to seem like it was messing up, meaning it was going corrupt, etc.

And so I did, or was doing a repair install of windows, it went through the install screen, like this
install screen

And it was ready to start up into windows where I should create a new user i think, or it was just ready to boot up, but it gets to the windows xp loading screen, then it goes black it doesn't make it to the welcome screen, and the monitor is still on, (green light)
Any Ideas?

Have you tried reinstalling? Possibly using a different ISO?

Yea, I have, I think since it was a repair install and not a complete wipe, that it is having issues with the drivers, but in order to change that I wanted to get into safe mode but that screen sits there and never actually gets into safe mode, it just says everything it loaded.

Try safe mode with Command Prompt.
If you can get in, then enable task manger and run explorer.exe

And what are your specs?
Is it a brand name computer?

I haven't been able to get into safe mode, I let it sit for about 12 hours and it wouldn't load all the way, it would just sit at the screen showing what drivers and stuff it loaded.

It's a custom computer built in early 2006.
It has a GeForce fx 5200 gpu
1.7 gb ram
Asus P4S800D-X SiS Socket 478 ATX Motherboard
I think I put an intel pentium 4, or a celeron in it I don't remember

I have tried about 3 gpu's and all do the same.

actually it might be your drivers and not the windows operating system try reinstalling them then install it

I don't know how the hell to reinstall your drivers but i have seen actually how they do it but forget. your best bets are going to the computer guy and paying like 60$ if you have and you screwing your PC up. Or it might be the wrong disc check for the right one get the orig on your PC try that then if that doesn't work try using a different windows then you should get it running back up again this will work or just go to the comp guy like i mentioned

I'm not gunna lie this came to me when I was sleeping.
I figured it was a driver dealing with the video I think because it is stuck in mup.sys when i try safe mode.

So I was thinking and I realized I have an old cd of Knoppix, which runs linux live from a cd, but that cd is just to old so I am currently downloading a new version of Knoppix and I will burn it tomorrow, I am going to delete my video driver completely when I get into linux and try to go from there.
