When a parent directory likes another parent directory very much, it does absolutely nothing because they're directories.

Some guy types in letters and names the directory.

I think he wants to know how you buy domains and how domains (websites as he said) are able to get domain names (to sell them)

They're just mirrors of the dns registry, and they charge more so they make a profit.
Like for example, there's a gigantic warehouse that registers domain on a whim, the dns registry.
But you can't buy direct from them, you go to a retail store and buy it with their mark up so they make money.
They then send a request to the warehouse, which makes the product, and sends it back, all in a few minutes.
In order to register domains directly from the dns registry, in case you're wondering, you would need a reseller license and that costs a fuckload so it's a bad idea unless you need to get like 5000+ domains all at once.
