If you're a college student, then you can get most of the major softwares at a steep discount.
Just get if from a trusted seller, and most colleges should provide the partner they get if from.

Depends on what crack you used. If you added update.adobe.com to the hosts file it should work for some releases. I can't tell you if it works for all. Usually cracked software comes with readme, i suggest you to read it. |

My very first post on this thread have answer both of OP's questions. If you don't understand the meaning to them. I'll explain it in plain English.
OPs questions:
1. Will adobe now not be able to make me have to activate it?
If OP has a legit version, will he ask that question? No as he'll not have problems whats so ever. Since he got a trial version and has probably cracked it or wants to crack it. He wanted to know if Adobe has anything up their sleeves which bypass all cracks and forces the user to activate.
2. Is that site a scam?
If OP isn't so sure, then why not just look at some place else where he can trust?

If OP is a college student then
1. He won't have to worry about whether that site is a scam or not as he can get it through his school.
2. He also does not have to worry about if he'll need to activate or getting caught with a bootleg copy since the copy he now owns is legit.
Also after doing some research, that site OP posted is a total scam.
