This is not a "low-blow" to those less fortunate than ourselves (or most of us), let me just get that across. I am merely curios as to others opinions about our gene pool and how it could de-generate extremely badly.
Yes, people are born with these conditions, and it is absolutely not fair. But the defective genetics in humans should be wiped out, no?
Wiped out as in not being alloud to reproduce. Polluting our gene pool with defects can only cause problems for thousands down the line, and if it increases, millions.
Is it moral to allow these people to reproduce? Most of you could say "yes, they are human its not their fault, they deserve as normal a life as possible", but i believe personally it is a very very in-humane thing to do.
We allow these heredatory diseases to pass from one generation to another, even growing in size thanks to our technology. If they reproduce, and most will given the oppurtunity, younger generations retain the disease, and the chain continues. As a result, one persons decision can cause a life of hardship for tens or hundreds down the line.
Then again, i believe free will to be the essence of humankind. whats oyur opinions?

I would jump at the chance to kill all religious folk and all 'disfunctional' humans, simply because they aren't bettering society, but rather slowing it down.
