Cooling: COOLER MASTER HYPER Z600R CPU COOLER

Motrher board: Asus M3N-HT DELUXE/MEMPIPE ( one of the best)

Wireless: D-Link AirPlus G DWL-G510

Memory: OCZ DDR2 1066MHz Gold Edition 4GB Dual Channel + 1.5GB= 5.50GB

Video card: ATI Radeon HD 4670 Core: 800mhz memory: 900mhz DDR3 1GB

HDD: 250GB

Monitor: LG Flatron Wide 19"inch (DVI to DVI)

Keyboard: Logitech G15 gaming keyboard


Speakers: Edifier 5.1 surround sound system

And how long would it last before its ... worthless?

No, not at all. I build my computer that has just about twice as good of specs as that was under $600 two months ago. I mean if you're buying it prebuilt then yeah that is a normal price, but I would really look into building it if I were you.

Well then you're clearly doing something wrong. I have an Athlon II X4, ATI HD 4870, 500GB HDD, and 4GB RAM, and mine was $568 - $70 in rebates.

And OP, having a better motherboard than someone else doesn't really matter if you have worse parts. As long as the motherboard works with your build, you should find one of the cheaper ones. Having a better motherboard doesn't increase the speed or anything.

Well, I guess I could have phrased that better. As long as it is fully functional, won't break, has the capabilities your other parts require, and isn't made from a cardboard PCB, it'll be fine.
