Here is the quote, do anyone of you believe this? Luckily in case I was Brest fed until I was 3 and I'm in all AP classes as a freshman
http://www.tobemom.org/entry/gene-links-breast-feeding-to-kids-intelligence/
Quote: | While many new moms are busy deciding on whether to feed her baby with breast milk or exclusively bottled milk, many ponders on the reason for a child to grow intelligent on breastfeeding! Yes, it is already a well-established fact that breast-fed babies tend to grow up to be more intelligent compared to their exclusively bottle-fed counterparts. But, the question on ‘why’ and ‘how’ on ‘the intelligence quotient link’ has been established only recently after about 100 years of debate on it.
Thanks to researchers who have zeroed-in to a very common gene found responsible for it. Breast-fed babies share the genetic variant to the FADS2 gene — found in about 90 percent of people!
This gene is involved in processing the omega 3 fatty acids found in foods — like salmon, nuts and avocados — turning them into nutrients required by the brain.
Besides providing intelligence to a child, breast-feeding also reduces infections, respiratory illnesses and diarrhea. In a recent study it is also found that breast-feeding adds healthier blood cholesterol levels in a child.
So, would-be-moms and new moms, it’s time to be aware of the goodness of breastfeeding for your child and stop pondering on whether to bottle-feed or breastfeed your young one. |

AP in freshman isn't anything special.
I've been in IB for 2 years now, and it hasn't been anything too difficult. Just a bit higher expectations, and more projects.
It's in gr. 11 where the shit gets thick, and it's hard to go on.

Yes, I do know what the International Baccalaureate program is. I think the question is: Do you?

While the program does a good job of preparing you for higher education, it is no means a replacement for it. University is relatively quite a bit harder than any program you will take through your high school.
Of course, this doesn't really matter if you can skip all of your DE math lectures in engineering and still have one of the highest marks in the department.

Agreed. IB is a breeze if you can manage your time. If you procrastinate, you better be good, because in grade 11 at my school you have lots of IB tests to study for, as well as the normal IB classes. It's really easy if you just pace yourself though.
And universities seem more fun than college. Considering I have found a profession that I can live and breathe everyday, and will give me a decent sum of money if I do well, it seems like I'll enjoy college more than highschool. We do a lot of stupid, pointless shit in highschool.

*hopes
Anyway, on-topic: There's probably confounding variables. I highly doubt that breastfeeding directly causes higher intelligence in students.

You shouldn't have to breastfeed at a young age, why rush into having babies?

Depends what university you go to. I've only had to take 2/3 courses that were required and weren't of my choice and even then, there was enough variety that the courses were still relevant and not "pointless shit."

I'm a 'brit' and I can tell you that's bullshit. Assuming that number was not pulled out of your ass, it is only so high because it's easy to get to A Levels. Which is why you get a bunch of retards trying to sit it. It logically entails that from that you're gonna get a pretty high fail rate.
Anyway that figure was pulled out of your ass since 25% of A Levels over here are A grade. Which proves they're pretty fucking easy.
