i got my maximus power dongle today
and i opened my computer case and it doesnt seem to have the cable i need

the power dongle looks like this

you plug power into the white input

my PC power supply only has this

the black type of cable which im not sure what its called

... Can you tell me what power supply you have?

because all computers should have a Molex cable maybe somethings in your system are already using the cable.

Edit: nvm i don't know what cable. I think it could be a special cable that maybe the Power dongle was suppose to come with?

i have a liteon PS-6351-2
I looked everywhere and i dont seem to see a molex its mostly those skinny black plugs (dont know what they are called) 4pin??

its a fairly new computer but yeea

They tell you what you need. I think your missing the external molex cable ( i read from the thread)

That is a molex to dual SATA connector cable. You would only need it if you had more SATA devices than your power supply had SATA cables.

You will more likely need another molex cable than a SATA cable, unless you use like 3 HDDs and 2 optical drives.
