Cheat Engine

Ok, before somebody comes and tells me to get Firefox, this isn't my computer and I can't get it even though I want it.

Now on to the problem. I am not exactly sure how to do this cheatengine stuff, I followed many guides and when I try it, after two scans, I always get no values. I tried the included tutorial and got to step 5 or 6, so I know the basics, also, I hacked pinball to get some score like 999,000,000, but when I try to hack anything in IE it seems to fail. Is there something I am missing?

Here is what I do: Open IE and go to the game in .swf version. Open cheatengine and go to top left, click the computer, click Window List, Find the one I want and select open. Now I find a value in the game I want to change, enter it into cheatengine and click first scan. Then I change the game value and click next scan. I now get nothing.

Help?

When scanning for values in flash you have to multiply the number by 8. It's due to the way they encode their numbers (they left shifted the number by 3 somewhere).

Try scanning for the normal number but set value type to double.

That doesn't work either, do many people have this kind of trouble?

I go to windows list, and as far as I can tell there is only 1 there, but in processes there are like 4. How do I know which one is right? (I have tried it on all of them with no results btw)

Yup same here. I was able to find the address 7 months ago for this game now I can't do it.

Example:
I type in the number of points I have on the website. Press first scan. 10 addresses show up. I then buy something. Change the scan type to reduced value. Hit next scan. Nothing.

Game hasn't changed so it's not that. The site looks the same and shit

you can't tell if the game has changed or not. The game is ran inside flash which is loaded off the website each time you run it. They only have to change one thing you don't even see on the screen and you have to change what to look for completely

I have 4 iexplorer.exes, no I am not getting confused with explorer.exe, it has the icon for ie and everything. They all have a bunch of 0s, followed by 3 random characters.
