I applied at a coldstone cuz my friend quit it. I submitted it via internet at a specific store in my area. She did it over the internet too but i didnt ask her how long it took cuz i dont wana piss her off that im takin her job

If they're hiring at the time, 2 weeks max I'd say, but your application will be kept on file for future offers if they don't hire you now.

Unemployment is so high right now that many places get in anywhere from 2-10 applications handed in a day. Just ask the clerks there how many they get and you'll see for yourself.

First of all you need to include a resume, that's the very first step to even possibly being considered. Secondly, you need to call them. The job market is so competitive right now that employers practically never call you, because they wait for the people who really want the job to call them... since they get so many applicants that it's no problem.

This of course doesn't apply to every kind of job, I'm talking about the ones with a high turnover rate which are most likely what you are trying to get (unless you have a college degree and whatnot then there's a completely different strategy for finding employment).
