Looking for a build for a quad core CPU type computer. Either Intel or AMD, I don't mind, but if it's Intel, I want an NVIDIA GPU and ATI for and AMD. I want a computer that can run games like L4D2 and all that. My budget is about $1,000 or so.

CPU: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819115202
Mobo: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813131365
GPU: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814130433
RAM: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231262
PSU: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817139006 - Might be a little overkill of a power supply, but it pretty cheap right now.
Case: Whichever one of these you like best and are willing to pay for.

No what you need is a great processor with the best graphics and that's Intel with ATi.

For case get on that support E-ATX so you won't have to worry if your video card will fit or not.

I agree, I would recommend an Intel + ATI build, but I was just doing what he asked for.

The point of a 99$ case?

I think the sun uses a 750W psu man. But with that he will never need a new psu to change video cards.

This is a decent total price too.

Mmm, whenever I see a comp with an i7, it usually is accompanied by a 750W or 850W PSU. Besides, the Corsair TX series are at fucking ridiculously low prices right now. The 650 is only like ten dollars cheaper than the 750, so not a big deal.

The Antec 900 is a shitty case, no wonder it's target towards gamers as Antec probably knew their all idiots and will buy anything that has lots of bling (Blue led fans) while the inner construction and ease of installation is a disaster.

Oh my god I agree so much. I have always been afraid to say it anywhere for fear that everyone would be like SHUT UP YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT YOU'RE TALKING ABOUT WHARBLEGARBLE.

I mean, it isn't necessarily that /bad/ of a case, it just isn't a good one, certainly not worth $100.

The Antec 900 is about $100, the 300 is about $60.
I bought an Antec 300 for a professional build and its PSU-on-bottom design had me buy an extension for the P4 connector.
You guys are right about their marketing, though. They did everything correctly.
