Bolded truth. Logitech are the best if you want to buy a mouse/keyboard. And sennheiser are excellent headsets.

Everyone who said Razer is low quality stuff or just paying for the brand is wrong.
I've had a Razer deathadder and a Razer Lycosa for about a year now. Still love it. Never had any problems.

I've had my Logitech MX518 for about 4 years now and it still works like new.

So? Just that I did not have it for a few years, doesn't mean it's not good.
I used to break my 10$ keyboards in about 1 month, but this keyboard was able to survive like 10 glasses of water |
You're right that how long peripherals last has nothing to do with their quality. Neither does spill-resistance. In my opinion, you generally get what you pay for: both expensive Logitech and expensive Razer HIDs are nicer than their <$10 counterparts.

The best keyboard for cheap is a OCZ Elixier II, low profile keys and only 10 bucks. :]

Get an OCZ Equalizer.
It's like 20 bucks, and it's great.
