It's only an extra option at boot? eh | I'm pretty sure that not all XP discs come with repair function, because I have an XP installation disc and a separate repair disc.

Well, I tried doing it on my own and I deleted the bottom 2 lines of my boot.ini. (Look above for my boot.ini). I then rebooted and it just came back. This kinda sucks because I want to install Windows 7 and it doesn't show up in the bootup. Also, my XP install disc doesn't have a repair function. And I also can't format because I have only 1 drive, the C: drive that be. Any suggestions?

Snag a live distro and an external HDD and save everything you want to save, and do a clean reformat.

I messed a bit with my boot.ini and I couldn't boot up at all. The hal.dll error etc. etc.
I thought like: FUCK!
Then I just pressed some random F1-12 buttons in bootup because I heard there's a special bootup or w/e. I got into bootup from CD mode and installed a clean Windows 7. Lock please.
