How do I cheat?

Window list works perfectly in Cheat Engine 5.4........
However, Cheat Engine 5.5 crashes every time I click on 'window list'!!!
I tried to reinstall it, but the problem remains.............
Anyone know how to deal with this.............?  |

It still does that after disabling the option to fetch the icons (option is in settings)

| When I click the windows list button, the program crashes. I, too, tried disabling fetch icons in settings. Still doesn't work. Anyone have any ideas? |

This used to happen as I tried new CE builds.
This is how you fix it:
1. Make sure CE is not running.
2. From the Start Menu of CE, find: Unload kernel module and click that.
3. From the Start Menu of CE, find: Reset settings and click that.
4. Reboot PC.
5. From the Start Menu of CE, find: Gather kernel data and click that.
6. Start CE.
It has to work now. |
