Been playing games with my TI84 during my maths class for a while. A few days back I start wondering how can I programme my own game into it...

Anyone knows where I can learn the programming language that TI84 understands? Thanks in advance!

Depends if you want to code in just TI-Basic, or assembly.

x86(-64) assembly differs from your TI-84 assembly.

Anyway, my Casio has a great reference manual for its basic language, and I think that your TI should have one. Just check it out and you'll be able to code some little proggies/games.

the TI-Basic will only work for small/slow games. If you want fast games, like Mario, like the ones you open with MirageOS, you have to write them in TI-84 Assembly.

i must agree, it is very hard to find a good tut about the asm/mirageos.
i once made a snake using basic coding, but believe, the calculator isn;t that fast then anymore:P.
if you find a good tut, i would apriciate it if you tell me:P

The manual that came with your TI-84 has a section that shows you.

Well, TI Basic is pretty simple to understand once you grasped the basic concept, I suggest you experiment a bit, because that's how I learnt it.

Once you got a good insight on how it works on overall, you can focus on making things more efficient and thus slightly faster.
