Well right now I'm on my work's hosting server fixing SSH, so here it is...

HP Proliant DL580
2x 6-Core Intel® Xeon® X7455 Processor (6 x 2.13GHz)
32GB PC2-5300 ECC DDR2 667MHz
16TB SAS RAID Array + 500GB SATA drive (for OS)
Dual gigabit ethernet
Dedicated 100Mbps upload / 20Mbps download internet connection

Downside is that I've got a 1024x768 resolution limit (actually it's 1280x1024x16, but 16-bit is horrible) on a crappy integrated ATI card. It's a freaking server, what do you expect!? Razz

This bit wowed me. Dump that into any gaming rig and you'll have a winner.

Doubt you'll find a gamer rig that'll take a Xeon, let alone two of them. And unfortunately server boards don't really come with a fast PCI-e interface, let alone SLI or Crossfire. You might possibly get a GTX280 on a PCI-e 8x, but the likelyhood of a dedicated GART would be minimal, so the performance would be pretty dire.

Besides, I thought modern desktop processors were optimised to run a low number of threads whereas server processors (e.g. Xeon) are designed to run a large number of threads. In terms of gaming, that wouldn't really be the optimal model. I also get the feeling that multimedia enhancing features would be put on the back burner on a Xeon, which would make operations such as video decoding much slower (disregarding the extra cores) than on a Core 2.

Mac Pro: http://store.apple.com/us/configure/MB535LL/A?mco=NDE4NDIyMQ

This thing functions as a server, multimedia access and editing, and gamer rig. Downside is that it's kickass expensive even with no extras included.

Just order my netbook.

Specs:
-Intel Atom N260 @ 1.6GHz
-1GB DDR3 (max. 3GB)
-160GB SATA HD @ 5400rpm
-11.6" LED (1366x768) w/BrightView
-Nvidia ION LE
-XP Home w/SP3
-6 cell battery

The very first Nvidia ION based netbook to actually hit the market, ahead of Lenovo and Samsung and with a resonable price to boot.
Starts out with XP and will move to Win7 once it arrives on Oct 22., but for Win7 it will start out at $475. Add tax and shipping and the Win7 model will be like over $500!

For a netbook over $500, I'll rather get a regular notebook instead.
dual core, more ram, dvd writer and all the usual stuffs.

Bought my friends computer and sold my 920 rig considering he was moving out of town and was willing to give me a good deal.

Coolermaster HAF 922
G.Skill Ripjaws DDR3 2000* fixed-not 1333 Dual Channel Memory running @ 1400mhz
Gigabyte P55-UD4P
eVGA GTX 260 Core 216
Caviar Black 640GB
