Call of Duty 5 (PC) Lag Issue
My mouse lags, in game lags. Why is this? I do have a big resolution.. but I lowered it to the lowest one on Call of Duty, and it still lags. My computer isn't full of useless junk.

Turn some settings down. Your computer can't handle running it at real-time speed.

You could try using game booster.
I know you said that your computer wasn't full of junk but...
Worth a shot, right?

Should be in Computer Talk.
What are your system specs? Have you tried reinstalling WaW yet?

Do you mean mouse lag, choppy game frame-rates, or both?
If it's mouse lag, VSync is probably the problem (not sure if CoD5 has mouse smoothing but that could very well be the problem also, disable it if its there and enabled).

I've re-installed it many times. I've also turned Vsync on and off, tried it both ways. Yes my mouse is lagging only when I'm in a game. Even if its single player it lags. When I'm at the menu screen, its fine though.

Throwing ideas out:
1. Open the developer console (~ tilde) and enter cg_drawfps 1
you can hit tab to auto complete / correct it, also.
What kind of framerates are you getting according to it?
2. In your display drivers, what's the max pre-rendered frames. exactly what this is called may differ by vendor, but it should be easy enough to pick out. High numbers may help performance but can introduce input lag.
3. Also in the developer console, you can try goofing with r_gpuSync. 0 - 3 are all valid. You can use shift-tilde to expand the console to check. 3 should probably be the default and will more than likely be the best.
4. r_multiGpu (i think, this is off the top of my head) can have strange effects. 0-1 are valid, play with combination of this and r_gpuSync to see if you can get an improvement.
