What does that have to do with aspect ratio... AR is a measure horizontal detail per vertical detail -- not actual detail.

Lets approach this from the most logical standpoint.

Technically, you cannot "change" an aspect ratio. To do so would mean you are either adding or subracting pixels from one side of the image.

And that would be more properly called "changing the screen resolution".

Otherwise explain how you changed an aspect ratio while keeping the same exact number of pixels. If you didn't keep the same exact number of pixels, why didn't you just say you changed your screen resolution?

Then we would be saying "well no fucking shit sherlock, did you not know that if you add something to a limited space, that something either gets smaller or the space gets bigger?"
