I took the hard drive out of my broken PC and put it my working one...but the windows folder is taking up space...

also it says theres 30 gigs taken up but theres like only 7 gigs on it and its only a 40 gig hard drive...

Oh and the problem is it wont let me delete my system32 folder I guess to protect itself?

The computer is from 2003 that I took it from D:

I can't buy a new one so I'm just going to use it for music...

But it says Total Size :34.6 GB

and it says 8 gigs remaining but theres only like 8 gigs on it and 8+8 is only 16 so theres like 16 missing? :\

Just do whatever your main drive is.
Unless you have multiple partitions it should be c:\.

Just go into my computer, and see what local disk is.
Then alter the command based on that.

Frees up a lot of space though thankfully.

If you are dual HDDing now, go to device manager and tell the operative HDD with windows on it to format the other HDD.
