I still think learning Java would benefit you the most. Not many people in these forums know Java. Also, you can do multiple thinng with the language.

C++ and actionscript, Visualbasic, Delphi.
the list goes on but I recommend you C++ and actionscript.

If you learn C++ do object orientated since it makes learning C#/java alot easier. Also it makes it easier to find any screw up in ur program.

ActionScript != programming language.
It's a scripting language.

Stay the frek away from .NET.

I learned C a long time ago and put it to pratical use.The MSDN was a great resource after learning api calls and such.

If you want to get into game hacking, definitely go with one of the higher up languages like C or C++.

.NET is not crossplatform.
