I'm german and i want to know how to use to "hence" and "I daresay" correctly.

Tell me if following are correct.

It's raining hence I'm not going there by foot.

I daresay those sentences are absoultly wrong.
Your conclusion was to obvious, I daresay.

Hence is used slightly off, it suggests a cause of effect, rather than a reason.

i.e. It was raining, hence we could not go.
Henceforth, the parade was canceled.

I think the transltion of "I daresay" must be wrong :S

Are the sentnces in my first post correct?

Neither of those terms are ever acceptable to use.

The only time I've ever used the word "hence" is in mathematical proofs. I've never heard anyone use "daresay" in real life.

"Hence" is acceptable. If you use "I daresay" on a regular basis you need to wipe the Cheeto crumbs off your neck beard, get out of your basement, and socialize with people.
