I'm german and i want to know how to use to "hence" and "I daresay" correctly.
Tell me if following are correct.
It's raining hence I'm not going there by foot.
I daresay those sentences are absoultly wrong.
Your conclusion was to obvious, I daresay.

too obvious*
Hence is used slightly off, it suggests a cause of effect, rather than a reason.
i.e. It was raining, hence we could not go.
Henceforth, the parade was canceled.

No you got daresay right.
It's like, "I regret to say" sort of.

| The only time I've ever used the word "hence" is in mathematical proofs. I've never heard anyone use "daresay" in real life.

| "Hence" is acceptable. If you use "I daresay" on a regular basis you need to wipe the Cheeto crumbs off your neck beard, get out of your basement, and socialize with people.

This.
"Hence" is acceptable in some situations I suppose, but when I hear the term "daresay" I picture a person that is British, gay, and socially inept.

If you're going to use daresay in a sentence you should use other fitting words, otherwise people will think you're trying to sound like a smartass.

The term "hence" has it's usage, but there are plenty of other synonyms that usually work better.

Such as Therefore?
It was raining Hence we didn't go.
It was raining Therefore we didn't go.
