When I use:

#import <hge.lib>
#import <hgehelp.lib>


I get:

fatal error C1083: Cannot open type library file: 'c:\program files\microsoft visual studio 9.0\vc\lib\hge.lib': Error loading type library/DLL


Why is this?

Try #pragma comment(lib,"hge.lib").

Yes well, it's outdated, thus it wants CLIB.lib (is that wrong? Maybe it's something else...) which I do not have with VS08
