Gave up on the signature thing.
Works mind you, but a lot more work to try to make everything automatic with signatures.

It's what he said. Talking a about a system where it finds a pattern in code, and, or data. So instead of having to go manually looking through a dump (or searching in a debugger) the process of finding offsets is done automatically.

Don't need it if you use RAMODBG olly, and Themida unpack/dump tutorials from "tuts4you" for a good IDA Pro dump.

IMHO just keep plugging way. Defiantly one of those things you have to learn by doing..
