Uh.. I guess.
Here in the US I use Comcast, all I would have to do is call them up and ask for a larger internet package, then they configure my internet, and I have a larger bill.
I dunno what's big in the Netherlands, but I'm sure you can find a good provider with a google search.

This thread seems almost a trollish at first.

Internet speed is completely different from computer speed. Even an old 1995 piece of crap IBM can download at 3 MBPS if the internet is that fast.

Living in the netherlands IS a reason for you to have slow speed. Everyone else lives in the USA, and here we have comcast who provide cheap fiber optic cable internet with speeds around 3 MBPS (18 MbPS).

But, it could also be your individual home not getting a good signal. Do you use cable? Sometimes you need a cable signal amplifier, and it will improve your speed very much. Try calling your ISP and tell them your internet is slow and ask what they can do.

To find out Right Click My Computer and select Properties. Then read through that page. Should be next to Windows XP Professional SP2...
