I get this result at Speedtest.net:
(about 15 miles to Copenhagen, and about 70 to Malmö, pretty fun i get a better result at Malmö O.o)
Just wanted to know how my speed is compared to anyone else, is it average or below?, and what is the limit of a good/bad internet speed?
And for those who might notice my extremely low Ping at the second test, i usually get around 35 when i do the test from Malmö, dont know what went wrong...

Download speed is influenced by the server, upload speed is your computer.
Notice how upload speed is the same.
Like here's mine right now:
My end of the connection is great, the server is shitty.
Also, right after you take a speedtest, it tells you how you compare to the average a bit up and to the left.

I think your speed is decent for downloading.
I require such a badass upload speed for hosting websites and such, so don't compare yourself to me.
Average upload is probably 1mbps, so you're close enough.

I rarely upload though... mostly to attach documents at mails or through messenger, and PowerPoint files etc..., always leave the uploads to some1 else
And when i download through Rapidshare, using IDM, i can get to almost 1,2mb/s, wouldn't that be more than this test results?

| Yeah, the test has results a little above half that. I've got a 30/5 cable connection, with no monthly caps or throttling for a pretty good price, so I'm happy.

no, the node you are on is likely just saturated as shit.
if you tried again at some whacky time when nobody is likely to be online, your speeds will probably be much, much higher.
