I'm not sure if is the correct section to post this in, but I can't find a better one.

A few days ago I received a 1 day ban on this account. While being banned, I logged into my other CEF account (Escea) and received a 1 day ban on him. Now when I try logging in Escea it's as if my account is deleted/inactive.

You're only supposed to have 1 account.

Then why was the other one activated? I know many people who have multiple accounts.

Chance? Proxy? I know DB has a system that if you have one account created with a certain IP, you can't create another with that IP

duplicate accounts might accidentally get activated on occasion. E.g different ip, password, cookies, etc... might cause the activator to not pick it up as a dupe, or just not sure enough it's a dupe (there's a human part in activating)

But when you get any attention by the moderators or admin, the duplicate account will be tracked down and deleted (once logged on to an account and you forgot to clear all your details, it'll be flagged for the rest of it's existence)

banned twice on the O account, or do you mean banned the 2nd time on that other account ?
If you mean the other account, that's most likely just a ban by a moderator to prevent you from using that account till it got deactivated/removed

a ban is to prevent you from posting on the forum, just making a new account negates the result of preventing you to post on the forum, so thats why moderators ban on seeing you got a duplicate account, to enforce the original ban

if it was a 2nd ban on the O account, it could be a moderator mistook the ban on your alternate account as the first ban and banned your O account for being the dupe

I was banned a few days ago for the 2nd time on O, I had already been banned for the same offense a few months back. While I was banned on O I logged on my other account Escea and was banned on him for a day also. Now I can't log-in him.

No offence Dark_Byte, but I think some of your moderators are abuse to the extreme.. I've only come back to the CEF community from being gone for a while and I already have warnings.

Look at my warn, it was for asking why my (legitimate) post in general discussion was removed.

asking why a post has been removed is a useless topic.
you could just have pm'ed someone asking why it got deleted

as for why it's deleted: most likely because you made a similar topic in random spam lowering the seriousness of the topic, or actually having it look like a troll topic
If it did get perceived as a troll topic, then making a completely new topic after it has been deleted could give the suggestion of some major trolling, which does deserve a warn
