I'm getting in another school too.
But I've been there before for a day.
Well yea I'm excited because I'm probably going to be in a class where I know nobody of :S
Also, I lol'd at some tips.

You can replace handshaking with high fives, which is what i did.
Yeah, classmates are much more important than friends.
And never, ever tell anyone you do CEF or any nerdy stuff.

Crappy tutorial. I personally dont think you are taking the right approach. You dont shake hands, and always should take the time to find old friends. It softens the blow of having to be in a new environment, and will make it easier for you to make other friends. Don't always talk to just the one person you sit next to in class, talk to everyone around you. Group work is your friend. If you actively look for reputation, you have already failed. As to how you dress, I recommend blue jeans and some neutral colors. It wont make you stand out so people will notice you less, this is both a good and a bad thing.

If you wink at someone or shake their hands as a greeting they'll think you're retarded. But confidence is the right idea, if you want to make friends.

My first day at school:
1. Don't talk.
2. Don't make eye contact.
3. Hide in the library during lunch.
4. Dart out of class as soon as the bell rings.

Nice guide (i may use it for next year when im 15 and everyone else is 14...>.>)

my advice is simple
do not be the shy kid that doesn't talk and is considered a retard or a emo. because that is a instant failure. just be confident and talk with as many students as you can but try to stay away from the retards (on my first day i unknowingly became friends with a retard that eats gum from under desks and loves hugging males).
[for fashion sense]
Male] id say long pants with a simple shirt plus jumper in winter and shorts with a simple shirt in summer (if you want eccentric try wearing a ring)
[Female] a skirt with jumper in winter and skirt with shirt in summer (for eccentric put a bow in your hair)
my school wears a uniform so we cant exactly dress differently Sad
