Fixed it, Got my self a new mobo.

And it where also some of those battery thingys nearby the pci slot

Old card (8800 gt): 9 inches
new card (295 gtx):10.5 inches

thats 3.81 centimeters or just a crappy mobo layout, but it is not a problem anymore Smile

uh yea, that would be the CMOS battery and your video card should clear it by a mile.

i'm still completely clueless as to what your problem was.
