I sleep on a cozy little futon that folds up into a couch, it's not that bad and it's actually just about as good as a mattress.

My bed is extra long extra firm twin. Metal re enforced frame made of railroad tracks. Very thick matress. Cost me about 200 bucks 4 years back.
