Agreed.
If you are a male and like twilight then fair enough, but it is fucking sick that girls love it so much. I agree with Jake Cookies because I like the same type of movies he likes.

People liked twilight before they even knew any of those two idiots existed.

To answer topic's question:
1st. It's not just girls. A lot of guys like Twilight series too.
2nd. The books are readable to today's teenage audience who thinks any book with a word of bigger than ten letters in it should be burnt.
3rd. The 1st book, Twilight, has a nice plot to it. The characters all suffer from some internal struggle, and the way they are so human in terms of emotions appeals to a lot of teens.
4th. If the 3rd option on this list doesn't apply to someone who likes the book, then they just like the story line. (me <3 <3 <3)
