See a podiatrist; he'll bring out a big shiny metal blade, shove it in the side of your toenail, and after a few seconds of wriggling he will pull it out and take out a big chunk of toenail and you'll be fine.

Yus, I'll get to that eventually. I'd prefer to be under an anesthetic, since I'm a pussy. My friend had an ingrown toenail removed without the anesthetic and he said it hurt pretty bad, I don't want pain to get rid of pain.
