I disagree. The theme is "rising evil", evil tends to be represented by darkness. Just need to find a way to blend the bg more.

I know that. I'm also a venom fan, I have the many issues of spider-man: max. carnage (something like that), in fact. It was sort of like a venom limited series.
EDIT: Here it is.
It was a crossover where spidey and venom team up to defeat venoms deadly offspring, carnage. Very important to the venom storyline.

I think it needs less.

Makes it look like a bunch of slapped on liquified C4Ds on a blank background. If it was darker, it would be so obvious that the background is just an empty dark gray layer with a random light source coming from the sides.

@Kronos:
Speaking of light sources, why is there a light source on the left background side? The face already has a light source that doesn't make any sense. Why add another?
EDIT:
Didn't notice that the render already had that crappy lightsource on it >.>

Render already had a light source, why add another random one that's kind of distracting you from the render?
Also, didn't say you liquified a C4D, just saying that it looked like it.

if u look at render the right side is dark then the rest. thats why i added it to the left.

Sometimes you can figure out where the lightsource should be if you looked at the stock that the render came from >_>

The light source you added in the left doesn't make any sense. The render already has a forced light source right in the middle of it.

Also, the left side of the render is darker than the right.
