So I recently got a laptop, I have it set up in my room, my wireless router is a Linksys and it works very well. I usually have 1 to 2 bars on my laptop and my ps3 is usually at 24% well I went on google and found this

Now this DID work, it doubled my PS3 wireless connection but my damn laptop is still stuck at two bars, Is there any software i can get that would help me with this problem, If not looks like I'm buying an external booster.

If your laptop supports 801.11N, then I'd buy a modem/router that supports 801.11N as I believe it is much faster...

What Linksys model router do you have, and what network card do you have on your laptop.

Both your router and network card are wireless 802.11g.
There isn't really a way to boost reception besides moving around your laptop to a less restrictive position or boosting the wireless power in your router control panel. You could always buy newer hardware.
