so anyway my dad added the hard drives from our old computer to his computer now, and it turns out he partitioned them so the data would not be erased when he system restored and stuff, because it broke alot.
so he used partition magic to try and unpartition them and he broke his computer
he some how hide all of his drives
...now when he starts his computer it comes up saying "cant find boot manager" "press ctrl+alt+delete to restart"
i gave him my vista install cd and it can run it
when u click repair it says it cant
if u click reinstall vista it cant find the cd drive to start
the only thing he can really so from the cd is get on cmd
so is there a way to start his computer up so we can unpartition his drives?
1. Buy another HDD and install Vista from the CD.
2. Use another computer to fix the HDD, if it's still in considerable health. Otherwise go for option 1.
What do you actually mean by "broke his computer"?
