I have TF2 and buy Garry's Mod, will Garry's Mod run off of TF2 or do I have to buy like CS or HL2?

Regardless of what source game you own, HL2 stuff is automatically available. For the props for the other games you need to own those (or manually at them to gmod).

You dont need a source game, i d/led garry's mod before i got portal, and i didnt have any other valve game, just popcap
