This is an example:

I don't see it as an issue. But I guess other people do.

I would just like other's outtake on this debate.

If possible please give opinions on rape being used as 'destroyed'.

I just know that I call everyone a 'fag' despite them not being gay nor stupid. Noz3001 is the exception to that rule though.

Refresh, rape does mean more than the sexual definition. Razz

However, "faggot, fag, gay," etc. are commonly misused to express something that is "bad" or generally disliked by a person. I've found that many people I confront actually do know they're misusing a word, although not always knowing what the proper definition or use is.

For example, the Westboro Baptist Church:

Known protesting just about anything to say it's god's will that someone, somewhere, at any time, is in pain because of non-believers, homosexuals, and so on, they are probably most known for the misuse of those words and know they are misusing them. It's just a matter of putting emphasis to imply a greater or more threatening meaning.

Psychology works in such a way, that a word you yourself know has no meaning in a sentence will work against you for the meaning you know it has been used for that does not apply.

For example: "A faggot" vs. "A homosexual"

From context, you know what the person means in the first sentence, and it bares a heavier weight on the mind then the second. (Is anyone else thinking "All the World's a Stage" at this point?) The meaning is only known because it has been used against a certain group before. If I were to say, "kill the tomatoes," no-one would understand what I meant. Tomato (as far as I know) has not been used to discriminate a certain group in history. It's all a matter of psychology when misusing words.
