Hmm looks more like Up2 than U2 so maybe adding Share smaller will work for the header alone. Logo is fine imo.

I like the current one better, also another thing you should keep in mind is that you should use the colours that the site is using Neutral

I think you should call it quits. Logo is pretty much decided now, doubt I'll change it to anything else.
