I like that better because the glow helps it blends better with the background. However I would suggest that the bottom part of the U should be straight and parallel to the bottom of the arrow. The top part of the bottom part should stay circular however, pic:

That's like what r34p3r's telling me to do. I may add a fade like that too.

Thanks, the reason for the square bottom is that it clears up some of the "genericness", making it an easily recognizable logo.

This looks good, simple and sleek.
Also the right edge of the arrow is slightly pointer than the left.

Yeah, I didn't have the canvas big enough when I made it and couldn't be bothered fixing.
