It's ok.
@gogodr, professional animations that make it to the big-screen tend to almost never use tweens.
The Simpsons was made FBF in ToonBoom, Disney Movies were made FBF on paper, but any recent ones were made FBFin animating programs such as Flash or ToonBoom.
The advantages of FBF animating include: Easier to create "bendy" movements, more realistic movements, removes a lot of "stiffness" in animations, etc...
There are so many advantages, but the trick is learning them.

I don't like the way you made it look like easing is only possible with tweens, I always ease when animating fbf...
Otherwise, it's a pretty good example. FBF is still > all.

| Gogodr, how is it better to use tweens for learning when tweening is pretty much just a lazy move when compared to FBF? Fuck, you're doing it again.

Hey guise, you're poorly animating a circle bouncing up and down. Try doing that with a human body to see if you can keep one frame such as this look better with tweens instead of doing the full body motion frame by frame. Also you're example was poorly done, fbf could be done to look as good as the motion tween you provided or better.

with tweens you can see how easings work and take it in consideration so when you do Step animation you can apply that knowledge and make easings too. also, tweening is not "the lazy way" :/
anyways, if you like stepmotion over tweening animation its fine :/ I mean... everyone uses the technique is beter for oneself

| I use both FBF and motion tween.

I was just giving an example of why motion tweens are better for gravity-based transitions. I didn't feel like animating a ball running out of kinetic energy, whether by Motion Tween or Frame by Frame animation. Frame by Frame animation is by far the best for walking animations, it allows for adjustable and lenient animation but for accurate transitions, such as you would use for preloaders, gravity-based transitions and other animated objects which require precise and smooth animation, Motion Tweens are the way to go. Hope that clears it up.
