It would probably come back. My hamsters have escaped my cages to many times to remember. We would leave food somewhere so it would get to it and then grab it into his cage. They look for food Razz i wouldn't be surprised when he comes running back because it was hungry.

you'd think that, but he old had it for a few days.

My cat, we had it for probably 10 or 11 years. It is an out door cat, but it knows where its food is.

When we first got it we had to keep him at home so he knew where his home was.

Maybe his guinea pigs don't?

He probably is dead, so don't worry about it.
