|
|
I recently got a Dell S2309W Monitor for my other computer. I'm having trouble bringing it to its optimum resolution (1920 x 1080).
The disk that came with it has "instructions" showing "right-click--properties--settings tab--drag slider to right," etc. For some reason, it is not an option. It says that if it's not an option..and it redirects to Dell Support for Driver Updates. I've downloaded some that would appear to help, but 1920 x 1080 still isn't an option. I've updated the Drivers directly from Device Manager for the monitor and for the graphics, but it still isn't working! To get this to work I've tried everything short of nuclear wea--no, never mind.
Honestly, does anyone know what I can do to get it to work?
When I go to files on the monitor, it does show 1920 x 1080 as a SUPPORTED resolution, but it's not the same list I choose resolutions from.
Anyone know how I can get it to work?

Your GPU doesn't support that resolution.

Update your drivers for your monitor, also check for the latest graphic card drivers and reboot.
If that doesn't work to get to the max resolution then your out of luck.
