Modern music itself isn't bad IMO. But as Trucido said. MAINSTREAM SUCKS ASS.

I totally agree that modern bands doesn't have a lot of creativity. The classics were amazing, queen, Jimmi Hendrix, Ac/Dc, etc. those days were amazing music was going wild at that time. But the reason some of the bands right now are popular is that they are sponsored by major Television networks.

System of a down. It has this crazy feel, something really different. They are even mocking the general love songs, and lonely-songs. I love 'em.

imo new bands that arent mainstream are much better coz they play acoustic music and are original.

I listen to shit like this, so I guess I really shouldn't have an opinion, but I agree.
New mainstream music sucks. I quit listening to the radio 2 years ago. You'll get a good band every now and then (+1 to you, butters) but it always comes back to (at least for me) listening to the old stuff like ACDC or the Beatles.

The radio stations I listen to are ok at keeping some good music on. But sometimes I too have to go back and just listen to my Beatles collection Smile

mainstream music; ehh, some are good, most are bad
mainstream rap is shit, IMO, the best rap artist is Blu & Exile
bands like city and colour and rise against are awesome
i prefer listening to beats like some from Nujabes, this guy is the shit

The music i listened is hardly about girls now....Linkin park's song about the world issues and stuff like that...Some songs make you think about your life.
