In half life for pc, when I search for any values (hp, ammo, etc) I always end up with 2-4 addresses. What does this mean? That one/some of them are pointers? Or what? Also, what does it mean when you've locked a value (take hp for example) at 100 or so, and it appears to stay that, but you still die. Half life is client sided so I dont see why that happens. _________________

You're supposed to search more than once sometimes, to narrow it down to one address.
First scan, second scan, then maybe another scan if needed.
(I don't know much about it but I did 2 scans in CE when I was trying something in AoM and it worked) |

some of them are just display values, just try them all out (e.g use a different type than the default ones)
Also, remember that if you change the value, it doesn't have to change to that value as soon as you enter the game, you may first need to get hurt before it updates _________________

oh ok that makes sense
Yeah once i get hit it starts flashing back and forth between the original value and the edited value (in game). Its not a big deal tho..
sorry if this is confusing..not in the best mental (sharpness) shape at the moment lol _________________
