me thinks he was simply telling you that if you tried your hardest, then everything will be a 10 in your own mind because you will be satisfied with your creation even if others think it blows. If it's not a 10, then you will keep working till you can be satisified and improve till you think it's a 10.

But if you try to get other's to say it's a 10 then you are abandoning your own personality and giving into the will of others.

The one who's really dead(symbolically speaking) would be you since you're actions would be simply to please others.

A way to know when you have reached your limits is have others test them for you. I am content with my signatures as long as nobody can offer any additions to it. Hence I know when I have reached my "limits" by attempting to impress others so that I know I have really done my best (reached my limits). To be the best in my eyes I have to be the best in everybody else's.

I am trying to develope my personality, limits and skills through the eyes of others, and some day, of mine.

So can somebody actually rate and offer some suggestions?

Like I said, please yourself, add stuff until YOU think it's done, then post it, then see what people say.
Then next time when you make a sig, take those into consideration, don't spend too much time one one sig. It's better to practice on new works, adds diversity. If you practice on just one, you'll get to used to THAT style, and wont be prepared for new styles.

I didn't think it'd look good on a black and white sig. I'll try it out though.
