JDownloader usually works perfect, but the new one seems to just love gobbling up my RAM :/

Sometimes, it also makes it easier to mass download stuff. When it's open, all you gotta do is copy the links then it automatically adds the links to it's library, it checks the links to see if they all work, then you right click and select "add all packages" to start downloading. You may have to press the Play button at the top.
Oh and it automatically extracts them if they are rared or zipped.

all i gota do is highlight the link then right click and copy?

Yeah, while the downloader is open. It should automatically add it to the link checker library.
