|
|
Well, I just installed Windows 7 and it's awesome and all but it hasn't installed my wireless card's drivers (Or so I think). It says that it's got nvidia network manager drivers installed but when I try to connect to a network it tells me that there aren't any and won't let me search for it.
Basically, I don't even know if that is the make of my card and it's really confusing me. Help for +rep :3

DO A BARREL ROLL
Some drivers come with external applications that are required to be used to connect wirelessly. Press start, and find any newly installed crap. Run the app, if it's there.

EDIT:
I'm not entirely sure if I need this:
http://www.nvidia.com/object/winvista_64bit_beta1.html
I'm gonna go test it, if it doesn't work I'll be back to moan and ask fo help.

Alright, so the drivers are apparently installed but this happens:
Also, beforehand I had a program called 'Wireless utility software' installed when I got the PC, but obviously when I google it I don't find my specific one, because there are alot of them out there :/

Thanks, but I can't go on MSN at the moment.
Also, I found this disc in my motherboard's box.
Right, now the trouble is that I can't find the drivers for that card for vista, because I don't exactly know which of the cards it is.

As it sess there 11N got a few different drivers for each.
Regards,
Humper | Dynamode 11n (300MBps) Wireless PCI card drivers
^That's what I've been searching for because I'm pretty sure that's what I've got.
I've downloaded the software to use but it says that there is no wireless card installed, which means that I need the actual drivers.

No, that was an XP disc. I'm saying that I now have the software to use but now I need the drivers for the card, so that I can use that software.
