| I am getting mine on Thursday or Friday and if you can jailbreak an iPhone 3G on the 3.0 OS, you will be able to jailbreak an iPhone 3GS too, right?

nope. They can jailbreak the firmware but not the hardware. I'm sure Apple tried to make the 3GS extremely hard to jailbreak.

You've obviously never jailbroken anything.
They're harder the fuck up than people think.
0 People so far have bricked their iphones / ipod touches due to jailbreaking.
If you read on forums that they have, they are wrong, they're doing something horribly wrong.

Srsly, why would you JB your 3GS when you just got it?
I'd rather JB an iTouch or a regular 1st/2nd gen iPhone.
